Bobbles Add to a Christmas Party Outfit

This year’s Christmas party look is just as much about the accessories as the dress. Jewellery is making a splash on fashion runways. Clothing designers say fashionistas can spice up a dull look by adding bobbles.

A new jeweler on London’s high street is offering a different experience for shoppers. With a private showroom in Piccadilly, Verdura at Harry Fane offers chic pieces designed by Fulco di Verdura. Christmas party season shoppers receive personal attention and with an appointment, items are selected for viewing with the consumer specifically in mind.

Designs popular for the Christmas party season include Verdura’s signature pieces. These were listed in City AM, a London publication as “cuffs in precious metals, wood or stone, oversized curb-link chains and quirky brooches rings or watches that are often inspired by nature.”

For Christmas party goers looking for something unique, only 20 pieces are made of each Verdura design. Prices begin at a few hundred pounds and go up to the £100,000 mark.

Sarah Jessica Parker requested that her ‘Sex And The City’ character Carrie Bradshaw wear Verdura throughout the new ‘Sex And The City’ movie which is set to be released in 2008.
