Ease the Christmas party pressure
23/10/2008

The Christmas party season can be a painful time if you're a woman. Badly fitting bras, killer heels and bulky bags are just a few of the ways in which fashion can dampen your enjoyment of the Christmas party, but follow these tips from herbal remedy company FlexiHerb and the event will be much more enjoyable ...

1) Minimise the killer heel exposure

Dancing the night away in sky scraper high heels can affect posture and your spine. Always take a pair of flat shoes as a back-up. After a few glasses of wine no-one will notice anyway, and you'll be grateful of them when it comes to the walk home.

2) Downsize the bag

Yes it carries all your party accessories and make up, but the maxi-bag can be a real burden if you overload it. Try a smaller clutch purse or slimline handbag for the real essentials and leave the rest at home.

3) Get your bra fitted professionally

Not only does a badly fitting bra look unflattering under your glitzy Christmas party dress but it is also bad for your health. A bra that does not give sufficient support can cause neck, back and shoulder pain. Combine a bra fitting with your Christmas party shopping and you'll have a much better time at the party.
