James Bond more likely to pull at Christmas parties

Scientists have concluded that men who behave like James Bond are the most likely to be kissing a beautiful babe under the mistletoe at Christmas parties.
According to the study carried out by researchers at New Mexico State University, "bad boys" tend to have the greatest success finding sexual partners.
But before the feminist camp exclaims in fury, it should be noted that this success is put down simply to the law of averages: it is these men who spend the most time chatting up the ladies at Christmas Parties. In other words, they only get lucky with more women because they approach more women.
The research team tested 200 university students for the three characteristics – or the “dark triad” – of the tendency to lie and manipulate others, the selfishness associated with narcissism and impulsive behaviour that gives little thought to consequence.
The scientists then asked the students about their attitudes to sex, including whether they desired short-term sexual encounters and how many partners they had had.
The result of the study, presented earlier in June at the Human Behaviour and Evolution Society conference in Kyoto, Japan, concluded that those who were ranked highest for "dark triad" characteristics also tended to have the highest number of sexual partners.
