Kate Moss's latest Topshop range - simply called The Christmas Collection - has sold within just 15 minutes of its launch at the chain's flagship store in London's West End on 28th October.
Some of the most popular pieces of the Christmas collection were the £100 panther dress which its designer wore to the Vivienne Westwood London Fashion Week show, the £65 triangle dress, worn by Kate in advertisements for the range, and a midnight-blue sequin gown that was inspired by Kate's 30th birthday party dress.
Despite the credit crunch, half the stock of a midnight-blue floor-length gown with a £400 price tag was sold within hours.
A spokeswoman for Topshop told the Daily Mail: "The favourite by far is a black T-shirt dress with a panther claw on the front. Kate Moss has it herself and girls rushed straight to it when the doors opened." The panther dress sold out online within two hours.
Hundreds of young women queued up outside Topshop's flagship London store for more than an hour, hoping to snap up the first pieces of the new Christmas Collection.
Miss Moss, 34, has a £3 million deal with Topshop to design her own clothing collections.
