Following the efforts of thousands of loyal campaigners, attempts to 'Bring Back the Shack' have finally been successful, and London restaurant venue The Chicago Rib Shack is set to re-open.
The Chicago Rib Shack, which has been closed for nearly a decade, is London’s original '80s American diner. The menu of this London venue features full racks of baby back ribs, stuffed potato skins, pulled pork and other traditional Stateside treats.
The American-style eaterie is being revived by Jon Yantan and Adrian Hartley, directors of CRS Leisure, who have bought the intellectual property rights to The Chicago Rib Shack.
For that taste of real Americana, this London venue smokes all its meats over apple-wood in specially imported ovens, and all dishes are carefully prepared using the original 25-year-old recipes.
This fashionable retro theme is much in demand, and punters are already lining up to make enquiries about recreating their 1980s heyday.
Situated in the heart of thriving Knightsbridge, this London venue is just around the corner from the Old Scotch House (now Burberrys), and a stone's throw from its original 1982-1999 glory days.
This upmarket London venue enjoyed an enormous following in its seventeen-year tenure, and indeed even benefitted from the occasional royal visit. The doors of the Chicago Rib Shack officially re-open on May 8th.
