Groundbreaking London bar Icebar, home of Absolut vodka, is to re-open, having undergone a 'radical transformation' in recent months. The newly refurbished London venue will now include scattered gemstones and sculptures, designed by world reknowned ice-sculptors, and made from crystal clear ice from the Torne River in Sweden.
The venue is kept at minus 5 degrees all year round, and is the first bar of its kind in the UK. The walls, bars, tables, and even your personalised glass and vodka cocktail, are all made out of the purest, cleanest ice. Absolut Icebar is completely re-designed every six months to give it a fresh look.
Visitors to the Absolut Icebar are booked into 40 minute time slots. Everyone is given a designer thermal cape with a hood to keep warm during your visit.
G. Heper, of Absolut vodka, said: "This is a very busy and exciting time for Absolut Icebar as we embark upon our global relaunch, and we couldn't be happier that the first stage of this relaunch is happening at Absolut Icebar London.
“We're very proud of the new look bar and hope to give our guests an ice experience unlike anything they've seen before."
Absolut Icebar is located in the heart of Mayfair, and re-opens on Tuesday the 29th of April. Absolut Icebar is located at 31-33 Heddon Street, London W1B 4BN.
