| ‘Morning after party night’ maintenance

After partying the night and early morning away here’s a few tips on how to turn up to the office looking fresh and awake.
Body brushing is an excellent way to remove toxins from your body. Using a loofah or body brush either before or during your shower will get your circulation moving. The key is to brush in long sweeping strokes towards your heart for the most effective removal of toxins.
Then wake up your senses with an energetic bath and shower body wash that contains menthol or citrus. Zing In The Shower (£5) by Anatomicals is perfect for pepping you up first thing in the morning.
A good party girl would have taken her makeup off before going to bed but if you didn’t make it to the bathroom before hitting the pillow use a deep cleansing cream to remove dullness and debris in the morning. Crystal Clear Oxygen Skin Polish (£25) will give you a fresh morning glow.
Alcohol removes moisture from the body and dries out the skin. For a quick pep up apply a rich moisturiser after cleaning and some eye drops for bright eyes. If you have a bit more time applying a mask to put moisture back into the skin is also a good idea. Bliss Triple Oxygen Instant Energising Mask (£38) will do the trick.
Your eyes can also be given a bit of TLC especially if you are prone to puffiness in the morning. Use Spa Sciences LipoPeptide Complex Eye Patch Therapy (£9.99) for cooling down the eye area.
With minutes to spear give your skin a break and keep makeup to a minimum. A touch of YSL Touche Éclat under each eye and then mix your base with your moisturiser for instant radiance. Lastly, apply the secret weapon to a fresh, healthy glow, blusher. Gel or cream formulas are best for looking great after a hard night partying.
